May 10, 2012 – Second Preparatory Meeting of the North Carolina ZJU Alumni Association Held
On the evening of May 10, 2012, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM Eastern Time, core members of the preparatory committee of the North Carolina Chapter of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association — including Huang Qin, Gong Liting, Shen Zhangxin, Jiang Jiadi, Jin Minna, Hu Menglong, and Huo Mingxu — held the second preparatory meeting via the ZJUAANC QQ group (226112998) and Google Hangout.
The meeting was coordinated by Huo Mingxu from the Information Department. Secretary General Shen Zhangxin began by reporting on the progress since the first preparatory meeting.
With remarkable efficiency, the preparatory committee quickly finalized the invitation letter, bylaws, list of council members, website content, preparations for the founding ceremony (including venue and dinner arrangements), and specific division of responsibilities.
Gong Liting also specially introduced to less experienced alumni the process of nominating and electing council members and the president. Most of the key content was coordinated and confirmed by Professor Huang Qin.
The meeting decided that the founding ceremony of the North Carolina ZJU Alumni Association would be held at Room MRC 136, Monteith Engineering Research Center, Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University (NCSU).
After the meeting, Shen Zhangxin, Huo Mingxu, and Huang Qin further finalized the content of the invitation letter.
Alumni who have already registered are warmly invited to attend the founding ceremony.
