Congratulatory Message from the North Carolina Chapter of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association on the 115th Anniversary of Zhejiang University
On the occasion of our alma mater Zhejiang University’s 115th anniversary, the North Carolina Chapter of the North American Zhejiang University Alumni Association, on behalf of alumni from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Florida, and other states in the southeastern United States, extends our most sincere blessings and heartfelt gratitude to the faculty and staff of our alma mater, as well as warm greetings to all alumni participating in the anniversary celebrations!
From Qiushi Academy and National Zhejiang University — the “Cambridge of the East” that embraces all rivers — we, as ZJU alumni, deeply appreciate the nurturing we received from our alma mater. We closely follow its construction and development and always hope for opportunities to contribute, however modestly, to its growth.
On the occasion of ZJU’s 115th anniversary, we wish the celebrations every success! May our alma mater, drawing upon its rich historical heritage, expand its grand vision and continue to write glorious new chapters!
The memories of Teaching Buildings 1–6 and Dormitories 1–6 at Yuquan Campus, the Bell Tower at Zhijiang, the “Little West Lake” at Huajiachi, the tallest building in Hangzhou at Hubin, the Chemistry, Physics, and Geography buildings at Xixi, and the modern, networked, garden-like, and ecological campus at Zijingang are all vivid in our minds.
We are especially delighted that alumni who have already graduated can come together to celebrate this grand occasion. The power of collective participation and mobilization, along with the sense of unity, will surely make this anniversary celebration a complete and resounding success!
We wish Zhejiang University continued prosperity and success as it marches confidently toward its next century.
115 years — how many Qiushi people have poured their sincere emotions into its glory.
115 years — how many ZJU members have dedicated their hearts and souls to its brilliance.
As a member of the national “211” and “985” key universities and the C9 League of Chinese universities, ZJU’s relentless efforts and continuous progress have taken it from one glory to another.
Over 115 years of trials and triumphs, ZJU students, under the care of the university leadership and teachers, will continue to develop comprehensively toward greater capability and higher quality, striving forward with determination!
After 115 years of hard work, the campus is now filled with talented graduates. Over 41,975 days of dedicated teaching, the university has sent outstanding talents across the nation.
On this special day, we extend our most sincere blessings to our alma mater. May it remain forever young and forever brilliant!

Looking back, the silent peach and plum trees have witnessed the vicissitudes through wind and rain.
