ZJUAANC Welcomes 2012 International Students and Visiting Scholars

The North Carolina Chapter of the North American Zhejiang University Alumni Association (ZJUAANC) was officially established on June 1, 2012, at the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The founding President is Professor Alex Huang (Huang Qin) of NC State University, a 1983 graduate of the Semiconductor (now Microelectronics) program at Zhejiang University’s Radio Department. The Secretary General is Shen Zhangxin, a 2009 graduate in Applied Biological Sciences.

ZJUAANC currently has over 80 registered members. Centered around the Raleigh-Cary and Durham-Chapel Hill metropolitan areas, and leveraging the Research Triangle Park, the University of North Carolina system, and Duke University, the chapter serves Zhejiang University alumni across the southeastern United States. We warmly welcome alumni from states that have not yet established their own ZJU alumni chapters (including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, etc.) to join us.

We are delighted to learn that the number of new students arriving at NC State this year has doubled compared to last year, along with many visiting scholars and their families. ZJUAANC seniors warmly welcome all new teachers, students, and families. If you need any assistance, please feel free to contact us.

For new students who are unsure how to register for OIS airport pickup services, the registration links for pickup and temporary housing are as follows:
